Open competitions:

Two-stage Horizon Europe competitions in the field of health – September 19th of this year.

Two-stage competitions under the European and Developing Countries Clinical Trials Partnership (EDCTP3): September 28th of this year.
Horizon Europe WIDERA competitions:

- Pathways to Synergies – September 28th of this year.
- Twinning Bottom-Up – September 28th of this year.
EIT Health:
The EIT Health DiGinnovation Program assists startups offering CE-marked digital health applications in implementing their solutions and obtaining financial support. Applications for the program can be submitted until September 20th.
Trainings:
The enrollment for the second edition of the Horizon Europe Project Manager Academy will open on September 4th. The academy is organized by the National Contact Point for EU Research Programs in NCBR together with the network of Horizontal Contact Points. The first sessions are scheduled for September 20th.
An online training event titled “ICPerMed Training – Research Infrastructures in Personalised Medicine: use, advantages and challenges” will take place on September 22nd. Registration is open until September 18th.
A series of free training sessions titled “Everything you need to know about submitting a European Multinational Clinical Study Proposal” is aimed at researchers and project managers from EU member states ECRIN who are considering applying for clinical research projects under the Horizon Europe program.
Events:
The Industry Contact Point for Medical Technologies and Health cordially invites you to the matchmaking event “Neuroscience meets Bioinformatics for Horizon Europe“, which will take place from September 4th to 8th, 2023, in Wrocław, during the PORT4Health: Neuroscience and IB 2023 conference, as well as online from September 11th to October 16th, 2023.
Registration is open until September 1st for the Medtech Innovation Event, a matchmaking event for startups, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), service providers, investors, and academic and global players in the medtech sector. The event will take place on September 2nd in Biel.
Registration is open until September 5th for the brokerage event accompanying the European Cluster 6 Horizon Europe Information Days (food, bioeconomy, natural resources, agriculture, and environment). The event, during which participants will have the opportunity to present their project ideas, will take place on September 26th in Brussels.
“BioWin Day: empowering health” is an event for professionals in the life science industry and decision-makers in the biotechnological, (bio)pharmaceutical, medical, and e-health sectors, which will take place on September 21st in Namur.
Travel funding for brokerage meetings:
Entities registered in Poland, such as universities, research organizations, companies, local authorities, non-governmental organizations, etc., excluding individuals, have the opportunity to receive reimbursement of travel and accommodation costs up to 1000 euros.
Experts wanted!
Currently, WIB is looking for experts who, through substantive evaluation, will support the selection process of the best research teams in terms of scientific and business aspects within the WIB framework. The novelty is that the scope of WIB support has been expanded from oncology to the entire medical biotechnology.
The call for experts is open until September 30th. Applications can be submitted in both Polish and English. More information about the recruitment process, as well as the program itself, is available on the website under the Experts tab. The expected date of substantive evaluation, in which the engaged experts will depend on the number of submitted applications (application period: October 2nd-13th), will likely take place at the turn of 2023 and 2024.
