NEW: RAPID ANTIGEN TESTS IN OFFER
Łukasiewicz – PORT includes in its offer rapid antigen tests for the presence of the SARS-CoV-2 virus. Their results let you travel during a pandemic without the need for quarantine. You do not need to register for the examination.
The Łukasiewicz-PORT supplements its offer of COVID-19 diagnostics with rapid antigen tests, i.e., tests detecting the presence of viral proteins (antigens) in a sample taken from the patient. The offer is available from July 12.
Antigen tests available in our diagnostic laboratory meet the highest world quality standards, which is why the European Committee for Health Safety approved them for use.
Roche (SD Biosensor) SARS-CoV-2 Rapid Antigen Tests are on the European common list of rapid antigen tests and the European list of mutually recognized rapid tests. That means that their results allow patients to use the so-called green certificate (EU Digital Covid Certificate). This document facilitates movement during a pandemic. A negative test result allows to cross borders of many countries and relieves from the necessity of quarantine.
- We collect swabs for antigen tests at the drive-thru point on the Pracze Campus (147 Stabłowicka st., Wrocław) from Monday to Friday, from 8 a.m. to noon.
- The test result is available on the day of the test by 12.30. Patients can check it online and download it as a pdf file on an intended platform.
- Antigen test for the presence of SARS-CoV-2 virus with a result in Polish costs PLN 120, the result with an English translation – PLN 150.
- You do not need to register for the examination.
At the same time, our laboratory still performs RT-qPCR tests. These tests detect the genetic material of the virus and give the most reliable result for infection. That is why the Ministry of Health and WHO recommend them.
