PORT Seminar Series: Prof. Jakub Szlachetko

The next meeting as part of the PORT SEMINAR SERIES cycle is ahead of us. Its guest will be Prof. Jakub Szlachetko from Jagiellonian University, research director of the SOLARIS National Synchrotron Radiation Center in Krakow.

SOLARIS is the only synchrotron in Central and Eastern Europe. It allows for conducting scientific projects that are unique on a global scale in the field of fundamental research and applied sciences.

On November 25, at our Institute, Prof. Szlachetko will hold a lecture entitled “SOLARIS National Synchrotron Radiation Center: research infrastructure for science and industry”. In the presentation, he will present the SOLARIS synchrotron project and experimental beamlines and provide practical information on access to the infrastructure and the research results obtained at the Centre.
