The Animal Facility

The Animal Facility of the Łukasiewicz Research Network – PORT registered as breeder – number 020 and user – number 0012 has also consents and permits from the Minister of the Environment for the contained use of GMOs. The Animal Laboratory is an experimental and breeding facility with modern technical facilities for in vitro and in vivo research. Maintains animals to conventional and SPF (specific pathogen free) standards. The facility conducts research as part of the work of Łukasiewicz-PORT research teams and cooperates with external partners. The Animal Laboratory employs qualified staff with experience in caring for laboratory animals and providing research services in the field of biochemistry, immunology, cancer immunology, metabolism, behavioral research and others.
