Increasing evidence shows that this microbial community affects both acute and chronic conditions and has a profound impact on overall population well-being. <\/p><p>From antibiotic resistance to chronic intestinal inflammation, the gut microbiome offers an excellent field for discovering new interactions that can serve as the basis for innovative therapeutic approaches. A key aspect of her research involved the optimization of OMV preparation protocols and their subsequent analysis using physicochemical techniques, including flow cytometry.<\/p><p data-start=\"847\" data-end=\"1177\">She completed numerous research internships in scientific institutions and diagnostic laboratories (holding an MSc degree in Microbiology), including a six-month research stay at the Faculty of Biology of the University of Barcelona, where she specialized in molecular biology analyses, as well as a several-month internship at the University of Iceland in H\u00fasav\u00edk.<\/p><p data-start=\"1179\" data-end=\"1535\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">Currently, she works as a <strong>postdoctoral researcher<\/strong> in the <strong data-start=\"1237\" data-end=\"1249\">Therapeutic Microbiomics Research Group<\/strong>, where she investigates interactions between microorganisms of the human microbiota and the host, as well as the protective mechanisms and pathogenic traits of these microorganisms.
