Genetic and biochemical research may, in the future, enable the assessment of which pediatric patients are most likely to benefit from cochlear implantation. <\/p><p><strong>On July 10 at 2:00 PM, in the \u0141ukasiewicz \u2013 PORT lecture hall, Dr. hab. Monika Matusiak  <\/strong> will present how identifying molecular and genetic biomarkers of neuroplasticity in children with congenital deafness treated with cochlear implantation can support a more personalized clinical approach and improve outcomes in auditory and language rehabilitation.<\/p><p>Dr. hab. Monika Matusiak is a physician and specialist in otorhinolaryngology, audiology, and phoniatrics. She works at the World Hearing Center of the Institute of Physiology and Pathology of Hearing in Kajetany, near Warsaw.
