\u0141ukasiewicz \u2013 PORT has signed a letter of intent to support the launch of the Wroc\u0142aw Drone Valley \u2013 a strategic initiative aimed at developing innovative drone technologies in the region.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The Wroc\u0142aw Drone Valley<\/strong> is a project that brings together key sectors: science, business, public administration, and security services. Its goal is to establish a sustainable innovation ecosystem in the field of unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) \u2013 for both civilian and military applications.<\/p>

\u2013 Our institute contributes unique competencies to the Drone Valley: next-generation sensors, artificial intelligence for autonomous flights, and advanced materials for unmanned vehicles. Cooperation with the city and industry will enable us to more effectively implement our technologies in practice. It is an excellent platform for integrating the research and industrial communities \u2013 said Prof. Jaros\u0142aw Bosy, Director of \u0141ukasiewicz \u2013 PORT.<\/p>

The development of the Drone Valley brings tangible benefits to Wroc\u0142aw and Lower Silesia, such as:<\/p>

  • new high-tech job opportunities<\/strong>,<\/li>
  • advancement of technical education<\/strong> \u2013 vocational schools in Wroc\u0142aw are already adding drone operation and maintenance to their programs,<\/li>
  • a safer city<\/strong> \u2013 drones will be tested as part of the \u201cSafe Wroc\u0142aw\u201d program, e.g., for air monitoring, supporting rescue operations, or infrastructure inspections,<\/li>
  • improved collaboration between the public, academic, and business sectors<\/strong>, resulting in more effective innovation implementation.<\/li><\/ul>

    Key signatories of the letter of intent include representatives of major institutions:<\/p>

    • The City of Wroc\u0142aw (Deputy Mayor Micha\u0142 M\u0142y\u0144czak),<\/li>
    • The Lower Silesian Regional Government (Marshal Pawe\u0142 Gancarz),<\/li>
    • Wroc\u0142aw University of Science and Technology,<\/li>
    • General Tadeusz Ko\u015bciuszko Military University of Land Forces,<\/li>
    • Lower Silesian Chamber of Commerce,<\/li>
    • \u0141ukasiewicz \u2013 PORT.<\/li><\/ul>

      \u2013 We are committed to building a knowledge-based economy \u2013 in this case, in the field of security. We want the city and region to jointly develop this area of expertise and industry \u2013 a sustainable ecosystem of unmanned vehicles. We are connecting universities, research institutes, industry, and the city \u2013 emphasized Deputy Mayor Micha\u0142 M\u0142y\u0144czak.<\/p>

      Unmanned technologies are among the fastest-growing sectors of industry.
