Science for the Future\u201d<\/em> is a comprehensive overview of the most important achievements and initiatives carried out by the organization of which we are a part.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-473ee28 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"473ee28\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b2b3da1 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"b2b3da1\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p data-start=\"315\" data-end=\"647\">The \u0141ukasiewicz Research Network reviewed its activities for 2019\u20132020 in a publicly available document titled <em data-start=\"426\" data-end=\"473\">\u201c\u0141ukasiewicz Report. Science for the Future.\u201d<\/em> The online report presents the Network\u2019s initiatives in its key focus areas \u2014 smart and clean mobility, digital transformation, health, and sustainable economy and energy.<\/p><p data-start=\"649\" data-end=\"1124\">The report includes, among other things, data on the implementation of \u0141ukasiewicz\u2019s flagship program supporting Polish entrepreneurship \u2014 the <strong data-start=\"792\" data-end=\"818\">\u0141ukasiewicz Challenges<\/strong>. Operating since November 2019, this unique system for initiating research and development projects enables a team of 4,500 scientists and engineers from the Network\u2019s institutes to take on a company\u2019s business challenge and propose an effective implementation plan within a maximum of 15 business days.<\/p><p data-start=\"1126\" data-end=\"1509\">The \u0141ukasiewicz Report also presents information about the so-called <em data-start=\"1195\" data-end=\"1214\">Scientific Shield<\/em> \u2014 the \u0141ukasiewicz Institutes\u2019 involvement in combating the effects of the pandemic, ongoing research projects, and the support of research result commercialization.
