\u0141ukasiewicz \u2013 PORT has introduced rapid antigen tests for detecting the presence of the SARS-CoV-2 virus. The results serve as an official document facilitating travel during the pandemic without the need for quarantine. \u0141ukasiewicz \u2013 PORT<\/strong> has expanded its COVID-19 diagnostic offer to include rapid antigen tests<\/strong>, which detect viral proteins (antigens)<\/strong> in samples collected from patients. The offer has been available since July 12<\/strong>.<\/p>

The tests performed in our diagnostic laboratory<\/strong> meet the highest international quality standards<\/strong> and have been approved for use by the European Health Security Committee<\/strong>.<\/p>

The SD Biosensor SARS-CoV-2 Rapid Antigen Test<\/strong> by Roche<\/strong> is listed on the EU common list<\/strong> of approved rapid antigen tests and on the EU mutual recognition list<\/strong>. This means that its results allow patients to obtain the EU Digital COVID Certificate (\u201cGreen Certificate\u201d)<\/strong>, a document facilitating travel during the pandemic. A negative test result<\/strong> enables border crossing and exempts travelers from quarantine.<\/p>

Swabs for antigen testing are collected at the drive-thru testing point<\/strong> located on the Pracze Campus<\/strong> (147 Stab\u0142owicka Street, Wroc\u0142aw), Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.\u201312:00 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>

Results<\/strong> are available on the same day after 12:30 p.m.<\/strong> Patients can view and download<\/strong> their results as a PDF file<\/strong> via a dedicated online platform.<\/p>

The cost of the SARS-CoV-2 antigen test<\/strong> is:<\/p>

  • PLN 120<\/strong> \u2013 with results in Polish<\/p><\/li>

  • PLN 150<\/strong> \u2013 with results translated into English<\/p><\/li><\/ul>

    No registration is required<\/strong> for the test.<\/p>

    At the same time, our laboratory continues to perform RT-qPCR tests<\/strong>, which detect the genetic material of the virus<\/strong> and provide the most reliable diagnosis of infection<\/strong>. These tests are considered the gold standard in COVID-19 diagnostics<\/strong> and are recommended by the Ministry of Health and the WHO<\/strong>.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
