These conversations bring together researchers at different stages of their careers \u2013 from early-career scientists taking their first steps in the world of research to experienced experts, innovators, and leaders in their fields. They talk about their professional paths, the challenges they have encountered, and how they balance scientific work with life beyond the laboratory.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-d09c853 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"d09c853\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-22fecc0 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"22fecc0\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The concept for the podcast emerged within the SAME-Match-Treat platform, developed under the SAME-NeuroID project funded by Horizon Europe. \u201cFrom the beginning, the idea behind the platform was to create a space for collaboration, knowledge exchange, and mentoring for young scientists from around the world. This new initiative by \u0141ukasiewicz \u2013 PORT, created as part of the SAME-NeuroID project, highlights career paths, challenges, and passions of researchers at different stages of their professional lives.<\/figcaption>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/figure>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-a0537da elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"a0537da\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p data-start=\"1425\" data-end=\"1860\"><strong>PORTfolio<\/strong> is also a tool for science communication and promoting research careers. The aim is to give listeners a closer look at the daily work of scientists \u2013 a profession that, despite its challenges, brings satisfaction and has a real impact on the world around us. At the same time, the podcast provides a space to present the work of \u0141ukasiewicz \u2013 PORT, a research institute where advanced technologies meet real societal needs.<\/p><p data-start=\"1862\" data-end=\"2108\">Each episode of PORTfolio is a story in itself \u2013 told by people for whom science is not just a profession, but a way of life. In the first episode, Dr. Ali Jawaid talks about his career, international mobility, and his passions outside science.<\/p><p data-start=\"2110\" data-end=\"2385\">\u201cThanks to the motivation and engagement of the entire team, and the addition of two new members who brought fresh energy and many new ideas, the project quickly gained momentum.
