Seminar participants will also learn about the <strong data-start=\"964\" data-end=\"998\">key involvement of glial cells<\/strong> at different stages of disease progression.<\/p><p data-start=\"1044\" data-end=\"1277\">In the section devoted to <strong data-start=\"1070\" data-end=\"1090\">preclinical data<\/strong>, Prof. Robitaille will discuss how improving innervation at neuromuscular junctions, enhancing muscle function, and extending patient survival are becoming increasingly achievable goals.<\/p><p data-start=\"1279\" data-end=\"1805\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">In addition, the Professor\u2019s laboratory is running collaborative programs aimed at the <strong data-start=\"1366\" data-end=\"1468\">identification and validation of neuromuscular junction components as potential disease biomarkers<\/strong>, including approaches based on <strong data-start=\"1500\" data-end=\"1517\">blood samples<\/strong>.
