The project features an AI-assisted neuromorphic device\u2014a \u201cmind companion,\u201d inspired by the avatar concept\u2014designed to support personal development and well-being through innovative recreation.<\/p><p data-start=\"1189\" data-end=\"1280\"><strong data-start=\"1189\" data-end=\"1208\">Inspiring talks<\/strong><br data-start=\"1208\" data-end=\"1211\" \/>The NeuroHack program was filled with expert-led sessions, including:<\/p><ul data-start=\"1282\" data-end=\"1976\"><li data-start=\"1282\" data-end=\"1402\"><p data-start=\"1284\" data-end=\"1402\">Judith Schweimer (Boehringer Ingelheim), who emphasized the value of collaboration in advancing preclinical science.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1403\" data-end=\"1543\"><p data-start=\"1405\" data-end=\"1543\">Anna Rajewska (ORCHIdea Foundation), who presented the patient perspective on technological innovation in neurology and neuropsychology.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1544\" data-end=\"1676\"><p data-start=\"1546\" data-end=\"1676\">Karolina Fila-Paw\u0142owska (Wroc\u0142aw University of Science and Technology), who discussed the impact of AI on the healthcare sector.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1677\" data-end=\"1807\"><p data-start=\"1679\" data-end=\"1807\">Steve Foster (Colorado State University), who inspired participants with his talk <em data-start=\"1761\" data-end=\"1805\">\u201cHow to Train Your Dragon, or Innovators.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1808\" data-end=\"1976\"><p data-start=\"1810\" data-end=\"1976\">Ali Jawaid (\u0141ukasiewicz \u2013 PORT), who closed the event with the lecture <em data-start=\"1881\" data-end=\"1976\">\u201cA Trend to Brainality: A Physician-Scientist\u2019s Quest for Truth and Romance with Innovation.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"1978\" data-end=\"2173\"><strong data-start=\"1978\" data-end=\"1997\">Startup stories<\/strong><br data-start=\"1997\" data-end=\"2000\" \/>Participants learned from startups such as <strong data-start=\"2043\" data-end=\"2062\">CancerCenter.AI<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"2067\" data-end=\"2082\">The Cognity<\/strong>, which showcased the role of artificial intelligence in cancer diagnostics and psychology.<\/p><p data-start=\"2175\" data-end=\"2361\"><strong data-start=\"2175\" data-end=\"2197\">Skills development<\/strong><br data-start=\"2197\" data-end=\"2200\" \/>International leadership and networking expert <strong data-start=\"2247\" data-end=\"2260\">Sue Tonks<\/strong> led a workshop that equipped participants with tools to make an immediate impact on their audiences.<\/p><p data-start=\"2363\" data-end=\"2505\"><strong data-start=\"2363\" data-end=\"2395\">Networking and social events<\/strong><br data-start=\"2395\" data-end=\"2398\" \/>Evening gatherings created space for networking, exchanging ideas, and building professional relationships.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-059e044 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"059e044\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Reflections from the project coordinator<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-4d3aa17 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"4d3aa17\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p data-start=\"2559\" data-end=\"2890\">\u201cWe had concerns about how this new NeuroHack format would work in practice, but more than a year of effort focused on selecting the right group leaders, building trust between them and the participants, and carefully choosing experts resulted in a truly inspiring event,\u201d said <strong data-start=\"2837\" data-end=\"2855\">Witold Konopka<\/strong>, SAME-NeuroID project coordinator.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-565fac4 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"565fac4\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Looking ahead<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3a8dc0d elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"3a8dc0d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p data-start=\"2917\" data-end=\"3240\">After NeuroHack 2024, participants left with new ideas, stronger professional relationships, and practical insights to apply in their work.
