The alliance is named after Max Born \u2013 an outstanding physicist and mathematician associated with Wroc\u0142aw, a recipient of the 1954 Nobel Prize in Physics, and one of the founders of quantum mechanics.<\/p><p data-start=\"929\" data-end=\"1316\">\u0141ukasiewicz \u2013 PORT is joining the alliance to collaborate with its partners in the development of scientific research, including interdisciplinary and applied research, to intensify knowledge and technology transfer, and to build stronger links between science and the socio-economic environment.
