<strong data-start=\"579\" data-end=\"639\">Polish-made GaN HEMT (High Electron Mobility Transistor)<\/strong> with <strong data-start=\"645\" data-end=\"671\">650V and 1200V ratings<\/strong> to the market for use in <strong data-start=\"697\" data-end=\"748\">high-power industrial power electronics systems<\/strong>. This solution will provide the Polish industry with the opportunity to integrate <strong data-start=\"831\" data-end=\"878\">innovative domestic technological solutions<\/strong> into its own electronic products and applications, thereby <strong data-start=\"938\" data-end=\"971\">enhancing the competitiveness<\/strong> of Polish enterprises on the <strong data-start=\"1001\" data-end=\"1032\">European and global markets<\/strong>.<\/p><p data-start=\"1037\" data-end=\"1222\">To achieve this goal, a <strong data-start=\"1061\" data-end=\"1108\">high-voltage GaN HEMT transistor technology<\/strong> will be developed at <strong data-start=\"1130\" data-end=\"1152\">\u0141ukasiewicz \u2013 IMiF<\/strong>, verified and consulted with <strong data-start=\"1182\" data-end=\"1190\">ITRI<\/strong>, and manufactured by <strong data-start=\"1212\" data-end=\"1219\">UMC<\/strong>.<\/p><ul data-start=\"1223\" data-end=\"1579\"><li data-start=\"1223\" data-end=\"1330\"><p data-start=\"1225\" data-end=\"1330\">The <strong data-start=\"1229\" data-end=\"1248\">650V technology<\/strong> is currently at <strong data-start=\"1265\" data-end=\"1274\">TRL 6<\/strong> and will reach <strong data-start=\"1290\" data-end=\"1299\">TRL 9<\/strong> by the project\u2019s completion.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1331\" data-end=\"1579\"><p data-start=\"1333\" data-end=\"1579\">Technologies for other voltage classes (100V, 200V, 750V, 950V, and 1200V) are at <strong data-start=\"1415\" data-end=\"1424\">TRL 3<\/strong>, but progress toward higher readiness levels is expected to be <strong data-start=\"1488\" data-end=\"1497\">rapid<\/strong>, given that these will be <strong data-start=\"1524\" data-end=\"1543\">scaled versions<\/strong> of the developed 650V technology.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"1581\" data-end=\"1821\"><strong data-start=\"1581\" data-end=\"1611\">1200V and 900V transistors<\/strong> are currently <strong data-start=\"1626\" data-end=\"1643\">not available<\/strong> on either the local or global market, making them the <strong data-start=\"1698\" data-end=\"1717\">primary targets<\/strong> of the project. Once developed, the new architecture will be scaled down to <strong data-start=\"1794\" data-end=\"1818\">lower voltage levels<\/strong>.<\/p><p data-start=\"1823\" data-end=\"2214\">The project also includes the <strong data-start=\"1853\" data-end=\"1913\">development of a GaN HEMT transistor technology platform<\/strong> on <strong data-start=\"1917\" data-end=\"1939\">silicon substrates<\/strong>, based on <strong data-start=\"1950\" data-end=\"1980\">original in-house research<\/strong>.
