The project involves a detailed analysis of how exposure to trauma alters lipid metabolism in the blood and whether these changes are accompanied by modifications in microRNAs. It also considers the influence of environmental factors\u2014such as a high-fat diet or physical activity\u2014on the transmission of trauma-induced effects to subsequent generations. The research will examine whether the consequences of trauma can be reversed through targeted modulation of lipid compounds in the body.<\/p>

The aim of the project is to deepen understanding of the mechanisms underlying the inheritance of trauma-induced changes across generations and their long-term effects, for example in Holocaust survivors.
