significant health risk due to its ability to damage DNA. Although such radiation is widely used in medicine, strict dose control is essential to minimize hazards. Detecting ionizing radiation is challenging because no direct detectors exist; instead, scintillators (such as LSO, NaI, BGO, and LaBr\u2083) are used. These materials absorb ionizing radiation and emit visible light, which can be easily detected.<\/p><p data-start=\"908\" data-end=\"1519\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">Recent studies have focused on perovskites\u2014promising new scintillation materials known for their high efficiency and low production costs. However, traditional fabrication methods result in brittle crystals, limiting their practical applications. The aim of the project is to develop three-dimensional scintillation materials based on perovskite nanocrystals embedded in various polymers, with a particular emphasis on lead-free options.
