Recruitment Principles
We conduct recruitment for new research group leaders based on the best practices of leading R&D units worldwide and in accordance with the guidelines of the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers.
The selection of candidates consists of the following stages:
- Initial recruitment interview – a meeting with the Center Director or the Research Group Leader appointed by the Director to lead the recruitment process, and/or with HR representatives, during which the candidate presents their professional experience and achievements to date.
- Prepanel – the candidate’s presentation to the Leaders of the Research Groups within the given center.
- Expert panel – the candidate’s presentation before external experts (scientific authorities) collaborating with the Institute. The expert panel prepares a recommendation for the Institute Director, who makes the final decision regarding the candidate’s acceptance.
