Support for Innovation in Health
The Sectoral Contact Point for Medical Technologies and Health (BPK TMiZ) at Łukasiewicz – PORT actively supports Polish scientists and entrepreneurs in applying for funds from the Horizon Europe program.
We also offer support in preparing applications, organizing webinars and workshops, as well as helping in establishing international project partnerships. Thanks to this institutional support from the health and medical technologies sector, applicants can more effectively obtain funding for innovative research and develop groundbreaking solutions.
As part of the Innovative Health Initiative (IHI), the following calls are now open:
Two-stage Call 4 – first stage
- Topic 1: Broadening translational knowledge and in mini-swine models: paving the way to reduce and replace non-human primates in non-clinical safety testing.
- Topic 2: Patient-centric blood collection/storage solutions to enable decentralized clinical trials and improve patient access.
- Topic 3: Integrative clinical studies to ensure fair access to clinical trials in Europe.
- Topic 4: Establishing innovative approaches to improve clinical research on rare and ultra-rare diseases.
- Topic 5: Safe and sustainable-by-design (SSbD) packaging and solutions for single-use devices in the healthcare sector.
- Topic 6: Sustainable closed-loop circulation and production of healthcare products, including their quantitative environmental impact assessment.
Single-stage Call 5
- Topic 1: Accelerating the implementation of methodologies for a novel approach and other innovative non-animal approaches for developing, testing, and manufacturing medical technologies.
- Topic 2: Development and validation of principles for new clinical applications of theranostic solutions.
- Topic 3: Improved methods for predicting, detecting, and treating the needs of comprehensive stroke management.
- Topic 4: Maximizing the potential of synthetic data generation in healthcare applications.
