NMR spectroscopy is a powerful tool in structural protein studies, allowing detailed analysis of their spatial structure, molecular interaction dynamics under conditions close to physiological ones. The technique is used to determine three-dimensional structures of small and medium-sized proteins, identify ligand binding sites, metal ion coordination, as well as study protein–protein interactions.
NMR spectroscopy also enables monitoring conformational changes and the dynamics of protein particles under different environmental conditions.
