On 1 April, Łukasiewicz – PORT celebrates the third anniversary of its inclusion in the Łukasiewicz Research Network. We are part of the third-largest research network in Europe. Operating at the interface of science and business, we provide comprehensive support to entrepreneurs.
The Łukasiewicz Research Network is a unique national initiative established as part of the government’s Strategy for Responsible Development. Its activities focus on planning and coordinating scientific research conducted within the Network’s institutes, as well as on cooperation with business and supporting the growth of Polish companies.
Łukasiewicz operates in accordance with the Science is Business model. As a result, it collaborates closely with business owners, offering solutions designed to support business operations and the development of innovative technologies.
The Network comprises 26 research institutes located in 12 cities across Poland. These institutes specialize in areas such as biotechnology, chemistry, pharmaceuticals, electronics, electrical engineering, materials science, precision mechanics, metallurgy, optics, and aviation. Currently, the Network employs a total of 8,000 staff members, including 4,500 scientists.
