Specialist for Administration and Waste Management

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Participation in managing hazardous waste (medical, chemical, technical, and animal by-products category 1), including: collection of waste, preparation and transport to storage facilities, updating procedures and instructions, managing waste storage areas, and maintaining their cleanliness.
  • Keeping records of hazardous waste.
  • Participation in procurement processes within the scope of administration.
  • Participation in tasks related to green area maintenance in areas under heritage conservator supervision.
  • Supporting interactions with tenants regarding matters related to their operations in specific properties.
  • Cooperation with contractors and external institutions/authorities.
  • Preparing summaries and reports.
  • Providing support in organizing events at the Institute.
  • Participation in asset management processes (handover for use, record-keeping, managing surplus assets).
  • Other administrative tasks related to and resulting from the activities of the Organizational Unit.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to make quick and accurate decisions.
  • Very good computer skills (incl. MS Office package).
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Teamwork skills and strong communication abilities.
  • Stress resistance and ability to work under time pressure.
  • Communicative knowledge of English.
  • Category B driving license.
