Łukasiewicz report

raport lukasiewicz

The Łukasiewicz Research Network summarizes two years of its activity. The published “Łukasiewicz Report. Science for the Future” is a comprehensive overview of the most important achievements and initiatives carried out by the organization of which we are a part.

The Łukasiewicz Research Network reviewed its activities for 2019–2020 in a publicly available document titled “Łukasiewicz Report. Science for the Future.” The online report presents the Network’s initiatives in its key focus areas — smart and clean mobility, digital transformation, health, and sustainable economy and energy.

The report includes, among other things, data on the implementation of Łukasiewicz’s flagship program supporting Polish entrepreneurship — the Łukasiewicz Challenges. Operating since November 2019, this unique system for initiating research and development projects enables a team of 4,500 scientists and engineers from the Network’s institutes to take on a company’s business challenge and propose an effective implementation plan within a maximum of 15 business days.

The Łukasiewicz Report also presents information about the so-called Scientific Shield — the Łukasiewicz Institutes’ involvement in combating the effects of the pandemic, ongoing research projects, and the support of research result commercialization. One of the featured topics is the Population Diagnostics Center, currently being established at Łukasiewicz – PORT.
