19/02 marks Polish Science Day. On this occasion, the Minister of Education and Science presented awards to outstanding scholars and individuals who contribute to the development of science in Poland. Among the award recipients was Dr. Andrzej Dybczyński, President of the Łukasiewicz Research Network and, until recently, Director of Łukasiewicz – PORT.
Recipients of the Minister’s awards were honored in five categories: for significant achievements in scientific activity, teaching, implementation, organizational activity, and for lifetime achievements. The awards were presented on 19/02/2023 during the Polish Science Gala in Toruń, which was part of the Copernican Congress.
Dr. Andrzej Dybczyński received the award for significant achievements in organizational activity. This award is granted for expanding cooperation with the socio-economic environment at the national and international levels, aimed at improving the quality of scientific research, development work, education, and supporting economic growth.
