Łukasiewicz – PORT Polish Center for Technology Development invites you to a lecture by Dr Bjoern Sommer from the Royal College of Art in London. The meeting will take place as part of the PORT Seminar Series on 4 November 2022 (Friday).
Dr Sommer has an interdisciplinary background spanning computer science, visualization, and design. For over a decade, within the CELLmicrocosmos project, he has been developing methods for exploring biological data from multiple perspectives and across multiple scales—from the mesoscopic to the molecular level—including cell visualization, data integration, molecular modeling, and Voronoi-based visualization.
At Łukasiewicz – PORT, he will deliver a lecture entitled “Visual Analytics and Design for Bioinformatics.”
The lecture will be conducted in English. Admission is free.
The talk will take place on 4 November 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at the Łukasiewicz – PORT headquarters (147 Stabłowicka Street, Wrocław, Auditorium in Building A, 1st floor).
