Another meeting in the PORT Seminar Series is ahead of us. The guest speaker will be Prof. Jakub Szlachetko from the Jagiellonian University, Scientific Director of the National Synchrotron Radiation Centre SOLARIS in Kraków.
SOLARIS is the only synchrotron in Central and Eastern Europe. It enables the implementation of unique, world-class scientific projects in both basic and applied research.
On 25 November 2022, Prof. Szlachetko will deliver a lecture at our Institute entitled “The National Synchrotron Radiation Centre SOLARIS: Research Infrastructure for Science and Industry.” In his presentation, he will introduce the SOLARIS synchrotron project, its beamlines, practical information on access to the infrastructure, and the results of selected research projects carried out at the Centre.
