Genetic and Microbiological Diagnostics Laboratory

The Laboratory of Genetic and Microbiological Diagnostics at Łukasiewicz – PORT is a modern research laboratory that provides both commercial services and support for the scientific community in the fields of laboratory diagnostics, molecular biology, and microbiology. The laboratory offers personalized solutions for researchers, universities, and companies operating in the industrial, pharmaceutical, and cosmetic sectors.

Extensive experience, highly specialized infrastructure, and a flexible collaboration model enable the execution of projects at every stage of development — from basic research to implementation support and technology transfer.

We guarantee high-quality testing in accordance with the implemented PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018-02 quality management system for the Research and Development Laboratory. For external partners, we use dedicated methods compliant with ISO standards as well as the Polish Pharmacopoeia, 13th edition (2023).

We have also obtained a certificate from the Quality Research Centre for Microbiological Diagnostics covering the assessment of microscopic preparations, identification, antimicrobial susceptibility testing, and the detection of resistance mechanisms of bacterial etiological agents of infections.
