The PORT Technology Education Center – Gardens of Experience invites families to spend their winter holidays with science from 20–24 February 2023. Registration has opened for free workshops for children accompanied by their caregivers.
Family workshops are open to children aged 4–10 and their caregivers. During the sessions held in the educational laboratory of Łukasiewicz – PORT, participants will experiment together, explore the secrets of science, and have fun at the same time.
Taking part in the workshops together is a great opportunity for creative and active time spent as a family, as well as for gaining new experiences. The following workshops await participants:
– “Secrets of Liquids”, during which participants will embark on a fascinating adventure in the world of primary and secondary colors, learn methods of combining them, and create colorful foam that increases in volume.
– “Kitchen Laboratory”, which introduces the scientific principles of molecular gastronomy. Young scientists will learn, among other things, the technique of spherification and—with the help of their caregivers—prepare edible “colorful capsules,” practicing the use of various reagents and laboratory glassware.
Each session can accommodate a maximum of 7 children with their caregivers.

Registration is conducted via email at: ogrody.doswiadczen@port.lukasiewicz.gov.pl, from 6 February 2023 until all places are filled. A reservation confirmation will be sent by email.
Participation in the workshops is free of charge. The workshops will be conducted in Polish.

Note: Please arrive 10 minutes before the scheduled start of the workshop and wait in the lobby at the security desk for a member of the Gardens of Experience staff.
W każdych zajęciach może wziąć udział maksymalnie 7 dzieci z opiekunami.
Rejestracja
Zapisy prowadzone są drogą e-mailową, pod adresem: ogrody.doswiadczen@port.lukasiewicz.gov.pl, od 6.02.2023 do wyczerpania limitu miejsc. Potwierdzenie rezerwacji wysłane zostanie e-mailem.
Udział w zajęciach jest bezpłatny. Zajęcia prowadzone będą w j. polskim.
