Training for teachers and educators
As part of the project, we invite teachers and educators from the Polish–Saxon border region to participate in free professional development workshops focused on applying the STEM approach and elements of gamification in education.
The workshops are led by our Gardens of Experiences education team, who regularly deliver hands-on programs in professionally equipped science outreach laboratories and work with children, youth, and adults across a wide range of age groups.
During the sessions, participants will:
- explore practical strategies for implementing the STEM approach in both formal and non-formal education,
- become familiar with tools designed to increase student engagement,
- learn how to design lessons based on experimentation and inquiry-based learning.
Dates and locations:
- March 3 – Bolesławiec
- March 10 – Jelenia Góra
- March 17 – Zgorzelec
Participation is free of charge. Space is limited.
STEM/MINT
An educational approach combining elements of mathematics, computer science, natural sciences, and engineering, enabling students of all ages to learn through hands-on experiences and creative challenges.
Its main objective is to develop critical thinking and the ability to seek innovative solutions. Thanks to the knowledge and experience of the project partners, who have strong foundations and practical expertise in this methodology, effective promotion and implementation in education will be possible.
