Gardens of Experiences
4-hour classes
For groups with a particular interest in a given subject, intensive 4-hour workshops are available, allowing for a deeper immersion into selected topics. These sessions provide more time for independent experimental work, data analysis, and asking questions to the instructors – experienced scientists. It is a unique opportunity to explore research work from the inside and to develop scientific passion in a supportive environment.

See the DNA
Can DNA be seen with the naked eye? Together with the workshop participants, we will conduct an experiment that will allow them to see that the answer is yes. DNA is present in every cell of our body, and changes to it can have a significant impact on our life and health. These changes can be caused by various factors, such as too much sugar or fat in our diet.
Young researchers will learn how to “take care” of their DNA by following healthy eating principles. They will have the opportunity to examine the glucose content in well-known products and discover how important the quality of the fruits and vegetables we eat is. Finally, we will take a closer look at the structures of selected products.
- Max participants: 15
- Workshop duration: 240 minutes

Chemical Puzzles
During the session, students will mix various chemical compounds, creating many colorful solutions and precipitates while exploring the world of characteristic reactions. Then, based on the observations and notes they have recorded, they will be tasked with solving a puzzle involving the identification of the chemical substances prepared by us.
