The conference was divided into three thematic sessions dedicated to affective disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders, and eating disorders.

Invited speakers discussed topics such as fundamental molecular mechanisms, the development of human disease models, drug discovery, and innovative targeted therapies in personalized medicine.

Our Institute was represented by:

  • Dr. Michał Ślęzak – leader of the Astrocyte Biology Research Group

  • Dr. Witold Konopka – leader of the Neuroplasticity and Metabolism Research Group

  • Dr. Tomasz Prószyński – leader of the Synaptogenesis Research Group

The PORT for Health: Neuroscience conference took place from October 13–15, 2021, in a hybrid format, marking the first international scientific and medical conference organized by Łukasiewicz – PORT.
