Łukasiewicz – PORT Animal Facility Laboratory is a modern research center specializing in the breeding and study of laboratory animals. It is equipped with advanced technical facilities enabling the conduct of in vitro and in vivo studies in both conventional and SPF (specific pathogen free) conditions.

The offered services include, among others: animal housing with veterinary care, breeding procedures, and animal record-keeping in a computer system. The laboratory also conducts training in research procedures in both Polish and English. Additionally, it offers services such as:

• animal observation,
• weighing animals,
• measuring feed and water intake,
• collecting tissues/blood for research.
