Registration for the international conference PORT for Health: Oncology 2022 has begun! Following the success of last year’s edition dedicated to neurobiology, this year Łukasiewicz – PORT invites participants to a meeting focused on cancer research. Scientists from Łukasiewicz – PORT have been recognized in the Polish Product of the Future competition! A composite anti-icing coating developed by the Composite Materials and Coatings Team led by Dr. Jacek Marczak received an award in the competition organized by the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development and the National Centre for Research and Development.

Łukasiewicz – PORT Institute invites you to a workshop on using QuPath, a software tool for microscopic image analysis. The workshops will be held at Pracze Campus and led by Dr. Zbigniew Mikulski from the La Jolla Institute for Immunology in San Diego. The workshop will take place from 13/06/2022 to 15/06/2022. A team from the Life Sciences and Biotechnology Center at our Institute has received a grant of EUR 1.5 million to carry out a project focused on research into neuropsychiatric disorders. They swapped a school chemistry classroom for a modern laboratory at Łukasiewicz – PORT. Our Institute supports eighth-grade students from the Active Small School in Wrocław who are participating in the Universiada competition. Members of the five-person PolySens Team are carrying out their scientific project under the supervision of Dr. Róża Szweda.
