Opis stanowiska

The Biology of Astrocytes Research Group at Łukasiewicz – PORT is seeking a highly motivated Research Scientist to join the international AutoHealth project, coordinated by the University Hospital Bonn (Germany). The successful candidate will work closely with Dr. Raluca Contu, Project Manager of the Polish arm of AutoHealth, and will play a key role in establishing tissue-based analyses within the project.

AutoHealth investigates how stress affects communication between the brain and the body through changes in metabolism and the cellular recycling process known as autophagy. By combining advanced phenotyping technologies, experimental animal models, and well-characterized human cohorts, the consortium aims to uncover the mechanisms underlying stress-related psychiatric disorders and identify novel therapeutic strategies targeting autophagy.
