Łukasiewicz – PORT has introduced rapid antigen tests for detecting the presence of the SARS-CoV-2 virus. The results serve as an official document facilitating travel during the pandemic without the need for quarantine. No prior registration is required.
Łukasiewicz – PORT has expanded its COVID-19 diagnostic offer to include rapid antigen tests, which detect viral proteins (antigens) in samples collected from patients. The offer has been available since July 12.
The tests performed in our diagnostic laboratory meet the highest international quality standards and have been approved for use by the European Health Security Committee.
The SD Biosensor SARS-CoV-2 Rapid Antigen Test by Roche is listed on the EU common list of approved rapid antigen tests and on the EU mutual recognition list. This means that its results allow patients to obtain the EU Digital COVID Certificate (“Green Certificate”), a document facilitating travel during the pandemic. A negative test result enables border crossing and exempts travelers from quarantine.
Swabs for antigen testing are collected at the drive-thru testing point located on the Pracze Campus (147 Stabłowicka Street, Wrocław), Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.
Results are available on the same day after 12:30 p.m. Patients can view and download their results as a PDF file via a dedicated online platform.
The cost of the SARS-CoV-2 antigen test is:
PLN 120 – with results in Polish
PLN 150 – with results translated into English
No registration is required for the test.
At the same time, our laboratory continues to perform RT-qPCR tests, which detect the genetic material of the virus and provide the most reliable diagnosis of infection. These tests are considered the gold standard in COVID-19 diagnostics and are recommended by the Ministry of Health and the WHO.
