Dr. Ali Jawaid has been included in the latest edition of the prestigious World’s Top 2% Scientists ranking, developed by Stanford University (USA) in cooperation with Elsevier and the Scopus database.

The ranking, published on the Top SCINET platform, lists researchers with the greatest impact on the advancement of global science. It is based on a detailed analysis of bibliometric indicators, such as the number of publications, citations, the Hirsch index, and authorship roles in scientific papers. The Stanford University research team analyzes data from over 9 million scientific profiles worldwide—only about 200,000 researchers with the highest scientific impact make it into the Top 2%.

Dr. Jawaid was recognized in the “Single-year impact” category, which highlights the most influential and active scientists of a given year in terms of publication output and citation rates within their fields. He received this distinction in the area of neurology and neurosurgery.
