Registration for the international conference PORT for Health: Oncology 2022 has begun! Following the success of last year’s edition dedicated to neurobiology, this year Łukasiewicz – PORT invites participants to a meeting focused on cancer research. The conference will take place on 28/09/2022–30/09/2022.
The “PORT for Health: Oncology” conference will be dedicated to oncology and oncobiology. The program will be divided into three thematic blocks: the biological basis of cancer, precision therapies in oncology, and diagnostic-related issues. Lectures will be delivered by outstanding experts from leading research institutions in Europe as well as from the United States. The conference will be accompanied by the satellite session “Towards Excellence in Biobanking”, which will be held online on 28/09/2022.
The conference will be held in a hybrid format. Participants will be able to attend over 20 live-streamed lectures and take part in discussions. The detailed conference program and the list of invited speakers are available on the conference website.

PORT for Health: Oncology 2022 is the second conference in the PORT for Health series, dedicated to key issues in science and medicine. Meetings of scientists, clinical physicians, and representatives of the pharmaceutical industry address topics crucial to contemporary biomedical sciences and of major importance for human health. The discussions focus, among others, on fundamental molecular mechanisms and the development of human disease models, the search for new drugs, and the potential of innovative targeted therapies in personalized medicine. This year’s conference is devoted to oncology; the next edition will focus on neurology/neurobiology.
The conference will be conducted in English.
