Professor Jarosław Bosy Appointed to the Advisory Team for Research Infrastructure at the Ministry of Science and Higher Education 

As of September 1, 2024, Minister of Science Dariusz Wieczorek has appointed a new composition for the Advisory Team for Research Infrastructure, of which Professor Jarosław Bosy is now a member. The team, operating under the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, brings together experts from various scientific fields across the country. Its primary role is to evaluate applications for funding to develop research infrastructure, which includes investments in both unique scientific-research equipment and essential IT infrastructure necessary for implementing the state’s scientific policy. The team’s mandate spans from 2024 to 2028

The official nomination ceremony for the team members took place on September 6, 2024, during which Professor Marek Gzik, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, highlighted the importance of the tasks ahead. He stressed that projects would be assessed by highly qualified individuals with vast experience, ensuring a thorough and expert evaluation of each application. 

The advisory team includes specialists from across Poland, and the team is chaired by Professor Tomasz Kubiak from the Lodz University of Technology
