Quality Management Systems

The Łukasiewicz Research Network – PORT Polish Center for Technology Development implements and maintains quality management systems aimed at meeting customer requirements and ensuring continuous improvement of service quality.

The quality systems in our Institute are implemented according to the requirements of the following ISO standards:

PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018-02 General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories,
EN ISO 20387:2018-08 Biotechnology – Biobanking – General requirements for biobanking,
PN-EN ISO 15189:2013-05 Medical laboratories – Requirements for quality and competence,
PN-EN ISO 9001:2015-10 Quality management systems – Requirements,
PN-EN ISO 35001:2019-11 Biorisk management for laboratories and other related organizations.

Competent personnel, appropriate equipment, and recognized research methodologies ensure the quality of research results, gaining the full trust of all customers.

Accreditation

The Spectrometric and Spectroscopic Analysis Laboratory, as well as the Microbiology Laboratory, have implemented a quality management system that meets the requirements of the PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018-02 standard.

The Spectrometric and Spectroscopic Analysis Laboratory, as well as the Microbiology Laboratory, hold the Accreditation Certificate from the Polish Centre for Accreditation with the number AB 1661. The types of accredited tests in the mentioned laboratories within the area of conformity assessment are provided in the “Scope of accreditation of testing laboratory No. AB 1661“, which is available at the link.

Accredited laboratories conduct commercial activities, guarantee confidentiality, and provide the possibility to submit complaints. The tests are carried out by competent and impartial personnel who are independent of any client or other party pressures.
