Activities in the Gardens of Experience Łukasiewicz – PORT during Fantasy Days
We invite you to workshops organized in the Gardens of Experience Łukasiewicz – PORT. Let’s combine learning with fun during Fantasy Days!
We focus on hands-on experience and experimentation in fully equipped laboratories, so that the youngest experimenters and their parents can together discover the scientific secrets of the surrounding world. And most importantly, have fun while doing it!
Who: Participants of Fantasy Days, families with children aged 5-12 years.
Number of participants: Up to 15 people
Duration of activities: 60 minutes
Price: 15 PLN per person, both children and adults

Scented Laboratory
How does our sense of smell work? We will explore this during activities in the scented laboratory! During the workshops, participants will learn what essential oils are, how we obtain them, and what properties they have. They will also discover the secrets of perfume making. We will ensure they gain not only new knowledge but also skills – each participant will create their own perfume sample to take home!

What Floats Won’t Sink
When we drop a stone and a rubber duck into water, the stone will sink to the bottom while the duck will float on the surface. On the other hand, people and animals can swim or submerge at will. How is this possible? Workshop participants will learn the factors that affect the behavior of objects in water, and then use this knowledge to create a colorful water tower.

The World Under the Microscope
Enter the fascinating world at a macro scale! Participants will have the opportunity to work with a microscope. Thanks to it, they will see what cannot be seen with the naked eye.
Color Mixing
Participants will embark on a wonderful adventure in the land of primary and secondary colors, learning the principles of color mixing.
