The year 2022 is now behind us. For Łukasiewicz – PORT, it was an intensive period marked by many important events. We would like to recall the most significant of them.

The third implementation PhD at Łukasiewicz – PORT has been successfully defended. Congratulations to Dr Anna Siudzińska, who defended her dissertation entitled “In situ Studies of Interactions Between Two-Dimensional Materials and an Electron Beam in a Transmission Electron Microscope.”

The Industry Contact Point for Medical Technologies and Health at Łukasiewicz – PORT invites you to a free online training session dedicated to the opportunities offered by instruments supporting wider participation and strengthening the European Research Area.

Six researchers from Łukasiewicz – PORT have been awarded grants in competitions organized by the National Science Centre (NCN): OPUS 23, PRELUDIUM 21, and POLONEZ BIS 2.

In January 2023, a new program of activities will launch at PORT – Gardens of Experience. The free workshops are intended for preschool children as well as primary and secondary school students. Registration is now open.

On 15 December 2022, a scientific seminar devoted to RNA analysis, spatial biology, and the application of these technologies in oncology, immunology, and cardiology research will be held at Łukasiewicz – PORT.

The Łukasiewicz Research Network, of which Łukasiewicz – PORT is a part, has announced plans to create two thousand attractive jobs in the research and development sector over the next two years. This plan was officially unveiled during a conference held on 25 November at the Łukasiewicz – PIMOT institute in Warsaw.
