The project aims to establish a Comprehensive Platform for the Analysis and Validation of Solutions Based on Microbiological Biomarkers, supporting advanced research on the microbiome, biofilms, microbiome-based therapies, and diagnostic tools.
Equipped with spectrophotometers, automated colony and cell counters, and a high-precision flow cytometer with cell-sorting capabilities integrated with a BSL-2 laminar flow cabinet, the platform will enable studies of microbial growth kinetics, antimicrobial efficacy, and microbiome subpopulation characterization.
This infrastructure will enhance the expertise of scientific staff, support translational research, and facilitate the commercialization of results, strengthening Łukasiewicz – PORT as a strategic partner in microbiome research and innovative microbiological technologies.
