Łukasiewicz Research Network – PORT Polish Center for Technology Development is a Research Institute within the Łukasiewicz Research Network. It focuses on development of new technologies, resulting from basic and applied research, which, in turn, serves as a basis for innovative solutions for the industry. With high-class specialists and state-of-the-art infrastructure, we provide capacity for the most advanced research. Our Institute consists of three research centers – Life Sciences & Biotechnology Center, Materials Science & Engineering Center and Center for Population Diagnostics,  with access to specialized core laboratories – a combination, which allows to carry out both, scientific research and pilot studies for the industry in a comprehensive manner.

We are currently looking for a person for the position of:

Chief International Projects Specialist

Main tasks and responsibilities:

Supporting research teams in preparing project proposals for national and international programs (e.g., FENG, Horizon Europe, international NCN and NCBR competitions) through:

  • Informing applicants about competition rules, including risk assessment, own contribution requirements, and non-eligible expenses;
  • Preparing the administrative part of the application and budget plans;
  • Verifying and completing competition documentation;
  • Handling application submission systems;
  • Coordinating the process following a funding decision, including preparing and signing grant agreements, powers of attorney, and other necessary documents at this stage;
  • Actively monitoring information posted on the websites of funding institutions regarding opportunities for securing financial resources for projects, updating competition schedules, and distributing information via university media;
  • Participating in international conferences, training sessions, and workshops in on-site, online, and hybrid formats.

Qualifications:

  • Higher education degree;
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position;
  • Proficiency in English sufficient for preparing application documents and participating in international conferences and training (min. B2);
  • Experience in acquiring R&D projects;
  • Familiarity with application submission portals/systems (e.g., Funding&Tenders Porta, OSF);
  • Familiarity with the administrative and financial regulations of major funding agencies.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team;
  • Analytical thinking skills;
  • Excellent planning and organizational abilities, systematic and diligent approach to work.
