Quality Management Systems

The Łukasiewicz Research Network – PORT Polish Center for Technology Development has implemented and maintains quality management systems aimed at meeting customer requirements and ensuring continuous improvement in the quality of provided services:

  1. PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018-02 General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories. This system is confirmed by the Polish Centre for Accreditation with an Accreditation Certificate available here.
  2. ISO 20387:2018-08 Biotechnology – Biobanking – General requirements for biobanking. This system is confirmed by the “Q-label” Quality Certificate issued by BBMRI-ERIC and a Certificate issued by BBMRI.pl.
  3. PN-EN ISO 15189:2023-02 Medical laboratories – Requirements for quality and competence.

In line with the development of new areas and competencies, we are also implementing additional quality management systems:

  1. PN-EN ISO 9001:2015-10 Quality management systems. Requirements.
  2. ISO 35001:2019-11 Biorisk management for laboratories and other related organizations.

Competent personnel, appropriate equipment, and adequate research methodologies ensure the quality of research results, earning the full trust of our clients.

Accreditation

The Life Sciences and Biotechnology Service Laboratory meets the requirements of the PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018-02 standard for quality management systems.

The Life Sciences and Biotechnology Service Laboratory holds Accreditation Certificate No. AB 1661 from the Polish Centre for Accreditation, confirming compliance with the requirements of the PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018-02 standard in the “Accreditation scope of the research laboratory No. AB 1661” (available here) – specifically in the field of accredited qualitative and quantitative chemical testing using NMR (nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy) for organic chemical products.

Accredited tests are conducted by competent, impartial personnel committed to confidentiality and independent of any client or third-party pressures.
