Prof. Dr. Anja-Verena Mudring
Representative of the scientific community, appointed on December 4, 2023.
A specialist in biological and chemical engineering, she received the Göran Gustafsson Award in Chemistry in 2017, awarded by the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences. She has worked at numerous international universities, and her years of experience contribute to the development of the Łukasiewicz – PORT Institute.
Dr. Katharina Summermatter
Representative of the scientific community, appointed on November 27, 2024.
Director of the Biosafety Center and the operational director of the Biosafety level 3 laboratory of the Institute for Infectious Diseases of the University of Bern, Switzerland. She has been a long-standing member of the European Biosafety Association, the American Biosafety Association and the International Veterinary Biosafety Workgroup and a board member of the Swiss Biosafety Network. She is the chair of the Technical Advisory Biosafety Board of the WHO and a member of the WHO’s Scientific Advisory Group for the Origins of Novel Pathogens. She is also the director of the WHO-Collaborating Center for Biosafety and Biosecurity
Prof. Adam Maciejczyk

Oncologist, specialist in oncological radiotherapy. Director of the Lower Silesian Center of Oncology, Pulmonology, and Hematology, President of the Polish Association of Public Oncology Centers and Institutes, Head of the Radiotherapy Clinic at the Medical University of Wrocław, and Regional Consultant in oncological radiotherapy for the Lower Silesian Voivodeship. Member of the European Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology (ESTRO) and the Pediatric Radiation Oncology Society (PROS).

Dr. Martin Strassburg
Representative of the economic community, appointment as of December 4, 2023.
In the field of experimental physics, he is responsible for innovation and technology collaboration at Opto Semiconductors GmbH. He has led OSRAM Opto Semiconductors’ activities in internationally and nationally funded projects, serving as coordinator, technical director, and work package leader. Since 2014, he has been directing activities in technology innovation and joint efforts at OSRAM Opto Semiconductors. Dr. Martin Strassburg’s knowledge and experience in technological innovation significantly contribute to the development of the Łukasiewicz – PORT Institute.
Dr. Stanisław Rogoziński
Representative of the economic community, appointment as of November 27, 2024.
An experienced manager in the venture capital and commercialization sector. Currently, a managing partner at the Satus Starter VC fund, previously associated with Brante Partners. A former consultant for the World Bank and investment manager in two seed funds. He holds a law degree from the University of Wrocław, as well as a degree in economics and business management from the Wrocław University of Economics and Business. Additionally, he completed doctoral studies at the Department of Financial Investments and Risk Management at the same university. Co-creator and lecturer of Poland’s first postgraduate studies dedicated to startups – Startup Excellence at the Wrocław University of Economics and Business. A graduate of the prestigious VC Lab accelerator for venture capital fund managers.
Dr. Tomasz Han
Representative of the economic community, appointment as of November 27, 2024.
Member of the Management Board at Hasco-Lek S.A. He is responsible for developing business strategies and implementing product innovations at Hasco-Lek. He manages the core business and oversees research and development activities. He also serves as the President of the Management Board at the Novasome Research and Development Center. A graduate of the Medical University of Wrocław and a Doctor of Chemical Sciences.
Dr. Włodzimierz Kubiak

Cezary Przybylski
Representative with outstanding professional achievements, appointment on December 4, 2023.
He has been engaged in public service and local government management for many years. As a councilor and board member of the Warta Bolesławiecka municipality, he worked for the development of the local community. He served as the chairman of the Education Committee of the Association of Polish Counties and cooperated with the Joint Commission of the Government and Local Government, where he was involved in shaping educational policy at the national level. Additionally, he served as the starost (head) of the Bolesławiec County, influencing, among other things, county management. He chaired the Convention of Counties of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship, which facilitated cooperation between various counties. He has been a long-standing member of the Monitoring Committee of the Regional Operational Program for the Lower Silesian Voivodeship. As the Marshal of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship form 2014 to 2024, where he actively supported regional and economic development in Lower Silesia.
Jakub Mazur
Representative with outstanding professional achievements, appointment on November 27, 2024.
Graduate of the University of Economics in Wrocław and the Faculty of Law at the University of Wrocław. He has 25 years of experience in business, covering various economic sectors, strategic consulting, company creation (including start-ups), and introducing companies to the stock exchange. His areas of expertise include IT, urban planning, energy, marketing, foreign investments, and B2B relations. Since 2018, he has served as Deputy Mayor of Wrocław, overseeing the Department of Strategy and Sustainable Development and key municipal projects. He represents Wrocław in national and international organizations, developing city development strategies with a perspective up to 2050. Since 2021, he has been the President of METREX – the Network of European Metropolitan Regions and Areas, and Co-Chair of the Committee on Local Government Structure and Metropolitan Areas at the Joint Commission of the Government and Local Government.
Justyna Młynarz
Representative with outstanding professional achievements, appointment on November 27, 2024.
Manager with extensive experience in international cooperation and business entity management. An expert in fostering Polish-German relations. She serves as the head of the regional office of the Polish-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (AHK Polska) in Wrocław, where she is responsible for managing and developing the organization. She supports companies in organizing business events and building relationships between Polish and German partners. She collaborates with local governments, authorities, and universities, strengthening international economic cooperation. A graduate of the University of Wrocław.

Dr. Krzysztof Czyż
Employee of the network institute, appointed on December 4, 2023.
He completed his doctorate at the Military University of Technology in the specialty of Optoelectronics. He has been working at Łukasiewicz – PORT since 2019, initially in the Laser Micromachining Laboratory and later in the Material Technologies Laboratory (Tech-Lab) as a Senior Specialist. He is responsible for, among other things, laser micromachining orders and CleanRoom processes. Since 2022, he has been leading the Tech-Lab. He participates in scientific research and commercial projects. Dr. Krzysztof Czyż’s knowledge and experience contribute to the development of the Łukasiewicz – PORT Institute.
