The Industry Contact Point for Medical Technologies and Health at Łukasiewicz – PORT invites you to a free online training session dedicated to the opportunities offered by instruments supporting wider participation and strengthening the European Research Area.
The training entitled “Widening in Horizon Europe as an Opportunity to Increase the Potential of Research Institutions in the Health and Medical Technologies Sector” will take place on 20 December 2022, from 10:00 to 13:00.
Agenda:
introduction to the Widening package (wider participation and strengthening the European Research Area),
discussion of participation rules in calls and application procedures, including financial aspects,
presentation of selected Widening calls for 2023–2024, including the latest calls for Twinning, Teaming for Excellence, Hop On, ERA Chairs, and Excellence Hubs,
presentation of selected examples of projects in the health and medical technologies area (success stories).
Speakers:
Katarzyna Banyś – Horizon Europe programme expert at the Industry Contact Point, with many years of experience in implementing Framework Programme projects and coordinating the Regional Contact Point for EU research programmes.
Katarzyna Walczyk-Matuszyk – from 2008 to 2022 an expert at the National Contact Point, including in the areas of Research Potential under the 7th Framework Programme, Widening in Horizon 2020, and Horizon Europe.
Anna Nikodym-Bilska and Dariusz Janusek – long-standing evaluators in the Framework Programmes and authors of numerous successful funding applications.
Participation in the training is free of charge. Prior registration is required, as the number of places is limited.
