Birthday in the Gardens of Experiences

We invite you to the birthday party organized in the Gardens of Experiences!

Who: children aged 5-14
Number of participants: maximum 15 people
Event duration: 2 hours
Price: PLN 60/person, min. PLN 420 for organizing the event

Place and dates of the event:

  • Gardens of Experiences in Łukasiewicz – PORT (ul. Stabłowicka 147, Wrocław)
  • Saturdays from 10:00-12:00 or 13:00-15:00
  • possibility of organizing a birthday party on working days – please contact us by e-mail

In program:

  • introducing guests, greeting the birthday boy/girl
  • a show of impressive chemical experiments with the participation of the birthday boy/girl as an Assistant
  • chemical workshop adapted to the age group of participants

What we provide: birthday invitations, classes in a professional educational laboratory, care of a qualified animator, place for a meal, parking
What the parent/guardian must provide: meal for participants, cake, tableware (cups, plates, cutlery, etc.)
Reservation rules: reservations for workshops are made using the online form.

Invitations can be collected on weekdays between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. at the Gardens of Experiences office.

Mystery of the fluid

Primary, secondary and tiertiary colors – what is the difference? We will learn what is color and how to mix them. Then we use this colors, hydrogen peroxide and the secret ingredient to make the colorful foam, which enlarge their volume in time. What the hydrogren peroxide differs from standard water? And what is the secret ingredient? All the answers will be provided during the workshop!

In the land of volcanoes

During the class we will examine what we know about volcanoes: which are active and which are dormant, and whether we should be feared. Young explorers will learn how the Earth is built and whether lava can be cold. At the end, each participant will construct their own volcano and cause it to erupt. We will mix, add, experiment – good fun guaranteed!

Super durable soap bubbles

Depending on the type of material, water either sink into the material or forms the droplets on its surface – what is the reason? Some animals are able to walk on the surface of the water, whereas human instantly sink in – how are they doing that? The point is hydrophilicity and hydrophobility, which will be the topic of the workshop. The young scientist will know these phenomena and learn how to use it make the very durable soap bubbles.

Fluid Tower

What is a liquid? Can all liquids be combined with each other? During the class we will ask many questions and “dive” into the depths of different liquids. Participants will find out that liquid is not equal to liquid, and through experiments they will learn how different liquids behave in each other’s company. At the end of the workshop we will create… a liquid tower!

Chemistry of perfumes

How do we sniff? What are the perfumes made from? Perfumes, eau de toilette, cologne – is there any difference between them? The participants will know what is the essential oil, how to source it and use for make a perfume. Then, everyone will use gathered knowledge to make their own perfume probe! And take it to home!
