EU-Africa Global Health – InfoDay

The Industry Contact Point for Medical Technologies and Health in #ŁukasiewiczPORT invites you to familiarize yourself with the area of ​​activity of the European Partnership EU-Africa Global Health – EDCTP3 (The European & Developing Countries Clinical Trials Partnership).

Its main goal is to provide new solutions to reduce the burden of infectious diseases in sub-Saharan Africa and strengthen the research capacity for preparedness and response to the re-emergence of infectious diseases in this part of Africa and the world.

Building on the experience of the two previous EDCTP programs, the new partnership aims to give more people access to new medical interventions and thus help protect global health security.

EU-Africa Global Health’s goals by 2030:

  • obtaining a license for at least two new medical technologies to combat infectious diseases,
  • support at least 100 research institutes in 30 countries to conduct effective and rapid research to develop a diagnosis, treatment, and vaccines to prevent re-epidemics.
