Family workshops
We invite you to join our family workshops organized at the Gardens of Experiences, Łukasiewicz – PORT, where science meets fun!
We focus on hands-on learning and experimenting in fully equipped laboratories, so that young explorers and their parents can discover the scientific mysteries of the world together — and most importantly, have fun while doing it!
Who: Families with children aged 5–12
Group size: Maximum 15 participants
Duration: 60 minutes

Workshop topics
Sensory slime time
Smell, sight, touch, hearing — just a few of the human senses. Ever heard of non-Newtonian fluid or vinyl polymer? Sounds mysterious? During this workshop, participants will learn what these terms mean and conduct experiments that engage the senses in the lab. At the end, everyone will make their own slime to take home. Fun is guaranteed!

Colorful experiments
If you’ve ever tried to separate sand from water or metal objects from plastic ones, you know it’s not that hard. But what about separating color? Participants in this workshop will discover that not only is it possible — it’s also simple and spectacular! Join us for some colorful experimentation!
