The workshop aims to show how to extract quantitative information from tissue specimens after their histological processing and microscopic imaging. Dr. Zbigniew Mikulski works at La Jolla Institute for Immunology, where he serves as a Director of the Microscopy and Histology Core Facilities. He promotes honesty and openness as the best long-term research strategy. His greatest satisfaction is when his trainees return with improved protocols, better images, wiser analyses, and bolder ideas. During the workshop at Łukasiewicz – PORT, he will share his experience in conducting research using the QuPath software.

Dr. Mikulski will perform image analysis, from simple quantification to advanced procedures, and show you how to best use the QuPath tool. The workshop participants will gain both theoretical and practical knowledge on how to adapt their samples for analysis. The upcoming workshop in Łukasiewicz – PORT is not only three days of intensive work, but also a great opportunity to meet and exchange thoughts between scientists from the academic community and industry.

The QuPath Workshop will run from June 13 to June 15. Participation in the workshop is free, thanks to the funding from the National Science Center. If you are interested, please contact grzegorz.chodaczek@port.lukasiewicz.port.pl. The number of places is limited.
